Team Event is a luxury performance ski apparel collection for women who love looking good while shredding hard. The collection draws inspiration from the glory days of freestyle skiing in the 1970s and 80s. It harkens back to a time when skiers were pushing boundaries technically and stylistically, and weren’t afraid of having fun while doing so. The Team Event brand brings back style and playfulness to women’s skiwear, but with modern silhouettes, highly technical fabrics and ethical manufacturing practices.

Marion Zaniello and Sharon Backurz met on the slopes of Park City, UT where they discovered their mutual love for skiing and fashion design. Both have clothing collections designed in and inspired by the picturesque mountain resort town they call home. Since that initial chairlift chat, the two have been great friends and mentors to one another, even travelling together for trunk shows and other sales events. This winter season marks their first official collaboration together.
